Accountabilities:
- Own product discovery by leading continuous customer research, gathering feedback, and translating insights into actionable product priorities.
- Define, prioritize, and launch new product features that expand automation capabilities and improve customer outcomes.
- Develop clear product specifications, including customer intent, requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical tradeoffs.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to balance product investments across research, performance, reliability, and new capabilities.
- Drive roadmap decisions and ensure product initiatives align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Measure product success through meaningful metrics, user feedback, and qualitative analysis when quantitative data is limited.
- Maintain alignment across customer-facing teams, ensuring visibility into shipped features, upcoming commitments, and future product direction.
- Build strong relationships with expert users through interviews, feedback sessions, and ongoing customer engagement.
- Advocate for product quality, delivery speed, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Make informed product decisions, including prioritizing opportunities, challenging assumptions, and adjusting direction when needed.
- Proven experience managing SaaS products from discovery through launch and ongoing improvement.
- Experience conducting customer discovery, including planning research, interviewing users, and synthesizing insights into product decisions.
- Demonstrated success working with strong engineering teams on technically complex products.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar industries quickly and translate complex problems into clear product strategies.
- Strong decision-making skills with experience prioritizing features, managing tradeoffs, and challenging assumptions.
- Experience building products for expert users in complex domains.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to define clear product requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Experience working in startup or small-team environments with high ownership and autonomy is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products, especially those designed for specialized professional users, is preferred.
- Experience in construction, AEC, BIM, Revit, CAD, 3D software, or geometry-focused products is a strong advantage.
