We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 1–5 years of professional experience to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Interior Design and Interior Architecture, along with the ability to transform concepts into functional, aesthetically appealing, and practical spaces. You will work closely with clients, architects, vendors, and project teams to develop innovative interior solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail projects.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about design, possess excellent visualization skills, and enjoy managing projects from concept development through execution.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives, and functional needs.
- Create detailed space planning layouts, furniture plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, color schemes, and design presentations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent effectively.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, fixtures, and décor elements while considering aesthetics, durability, and budget.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material sourcing and vendor management.
- Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining design quality.
- Stay updated with emerging interior design trends, sustainable materials, and innovative design technologies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, design revisions, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in interior design projects.
- Strong understanding of Interior Design principles, space planning, ergonomics, materials, lighting, and color theory.
- Solid knowledge of Interior Architecture, including construction detailing, building systems, and spatial planning.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, or similar visualization tools.
- Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert concepts into executable designs.
- Excellent creative thinking, visualization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Good project coordination and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail interior projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards.
- Familiarity with project estimation, budgeting, and BOQ preparation.
- Experience in furniture design and custom joinery detailing.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies and vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and advanced rendering tools.
