Accountabilities:
- Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for registration, enrollment, authentication, and member access experiences.
- Define and execute a multi-year technical vision for onboarding platforms, incorporating modern engineering practices and emerging technologies.
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure systems that support complex user journeys and enterprise-level growth.
- Drive exceptional user experiences by ensuring performance, usability, compliance, and platform reliability.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics, Strategy, and business teams to optimize acquisition, conversion, and customer engagement outcomes.
- Provide leadership to senior engineering managers while supporting broader engineering teams, including quality assurance, design, and technical delivery functions.
- Establish strong operational processes around project execution, risk management, dependencies, and delivery visibility.
- Develop engineering leaders through coaching, mentorship, and career development initiatives.
- Promote engineering excellence through best practices, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across technical and business organizations to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including managing large engineering organizations.
- Proven success leading engineering teams of 30+ professionals across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex technical domains such as identity, registration, authentication, eligibility, or similar platforms.
- Strong architectural expertise with the ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Experience leading high-volume, data-intensive, or enterprise-scale systems.
- Strong project management skills, including dependency coordination, risk mitigation, and execution tracking.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships across product, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
- Experience operating in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, enterprise technology, or identity management is preferred.
- Familiarity with direct-to-consumer digital products and modern cloud-based architectures is a plus.
- Competitive base salary range of $200,000 - $220,000 USD, depending on experience, location, education, skills, and qualifications.
