As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.  

 

 

Mechatronics, Controls & Robotics Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in developing advanced control solutions for high-precision automation, robotics, motion control, and process control systems. Experienced in translating system requirements into robust control architectures, algorithms, and software solutions that improve accuracy, throughput, reliability, and overall system performance. Strong foundation in Classical and Modern Control Theory, including PID control, state-space modeling, observer design, system identification, servo tuning, feedforward control, and advanced motion control techniques. Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, Model-Based Design, and Embedded Code Generation, enabling rapid development and deployment of control applications. Skilled in creating mathematical models of dynamic systems, implementing real-time control algorithms, conducting experimental validation, and optimizing system performance through data-driven engineering approaches. Hands-on experience integrating sensors, actuators, servo drives, embedded controllers, and industrial communication interfaces within complex mechatronic systems. Passionate about applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to next-generation automation and robotics solutions, including predictive control, fault detection, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and intelligent system optimization. Known for strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and product engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s Preferred)
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in control systems, automation, Mechatronics and controllers
  • Design, develop, implement, and validate advanced control algorithms for robotics, motion control, and process automation systems.
  • Develop mathematical models representing static and dynamic behavior of complex mechatronic systems.
  • Perform system identification and parameter estimation using experimental and analytical methods.
  • Implement control algorithms in real-time software platforms with focus on performance, robustness, and maintainability.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML-based solutions for intelligent control, diagnostics, and predictive system behavior.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments, data collection, and system characterization activities.
  • Perform servo tuning and optimization to achieve precision, stability, throughput, and robustness targets.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, controllers, and software components into complete mechatronic systems.
  • Analyze system-level issues, identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and product engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, validation reports, and customer presentations.
  • Support product qualification, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience Semiconductor Equipment control system development or similar is preferable.
