As a Loan Servicing Specialist – Operations Analyst within our Loans group, you will be responsible for executing all assigned tasks while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your role may involve any combination of processes, including Cash Operations, Loan Setup & Maintenance, Loan Account Management, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Property Tax, Payoff & Fees, within Real Estate Loan Servicing. This position provides a valuable opportunity to develop your skills and contribute significantly to our operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute and manage critical tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary internal point of contact for process-related queries and clarifications.
- Handle and resolve queries efficiently, ensuring timely responses and solutions.
- Act as the initial point of escalation for process-related issues from stakeholders.
- Consistently meet established Quality & Quantity targets.
- Ensure full compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls.
- Complete all servicing transactions within the SLA on the same day.
- Prepare and deliver Business-As-Usual (BAU) and End-of-Day (EOD) reports to support ongoing operations.
- Implement a two-touch approval process for critical tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct thorough research on escalated issues to provide insights and recommendations.
- Perform quality checks on critical tasks, follow up with upstream and downstream partners, support projects, identify process improvements, and manage escalations effectively.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Demonstrate willingness to work night shifts (North America Shift).
- Possess a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Have at least 36 months of experience in the financial services industry with a demonstrated history of successful delivery.
- Understand business financial statements and Real Estate loan operations.
- Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills for analyzing large data sets.
- Effectively manage clients, build partnerships, and lead while interacting with multiple stakeholders.
- Employ effective time management, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills while working independently on multiple tasks.
