Job Description

Summary:

Oversee activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and material storages functions. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems. Orders materials and maintains them in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develop material schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Review and plans requirements for purchasing materials. May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems. May help establish and maintain the production control system. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

You will report to our Plant Manager, located in Dominican Republic.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct plan scheduling strategy providing guidance to Production area according to both internal and external customer's needs.

  • Ensure delivery compliance with customer, identifying causes and developing solutions to improve future performance.

  • Provide product supply and inventory planning support for new product development and launching projects.

  • Manage budget of the expense materials to ensure compliance with financial requirements and achieve annual productivity goals.

  • Establish and achieve annual inventory reduction and customer service performance targets.

  • Provide direction to warehouse management to ensure that material are received, stored, dispatch reported following established procedures.

  • Work with the inventory through the definition and leadership of a system that consider transactions documentation, process verification and physical inventories and cycle counts program.

  • You will Provide directions to logistics supervisor to ensure that both inbound and outbound shipments are performed in compliance with local and corporate policies and are through the designated third parties according to contracts.

  • You will work with Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to develop and implement product supply and inventory plans consistent with the goals of the departments and product line.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or Accounting.

5+ years management experience in Material or Logistics environment.

Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Project management, general knowledge.

SAP experience

The Preferred- You might also have:
