Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Install, service, and maintain machinery and production systems
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to support production goals
- Maintain a safe and collaborative work environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to the component level
- Strong understanding of automated industrial equipment, including:
- Motors, drives, pumps, relays, and 3-phase power systems
- Industrial controls and communication devices
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to install and troubleshoot AC/DC drives
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Knowledge of power transmission systems and bearings
- Experience with pumps (air and electric)
- Understanding of sensors, limit switches, and motor control circuits
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle flexible hours or overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic welding experience
- Cross-trade maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical)
