About the Role
We are seeking a Security Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of information security initiatives across the organization. This professional coordinates cross-functional teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver security projects on time, within scope, and aligned with the organization's risk and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security projects (e.g., identity and access management, privileged access management, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, firewall/network security) from initiation through closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and success criteria together with security and business leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, managing dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
- Track progress, manage risks and issues, and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure projects adhere to security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Prepare status reports, executive updates, and post-implementation reviews.
- Support budget planning and cost-benefit analysis for security initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing IT or cybersecurity projects, ideally in a matrixed or multinational environment.
- Solid understanding of information security concepts, frameworks, and controls.
- Familiarity with security domains such as IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and firewall/network security.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus; security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+) are desirable.

- Ability to bridge technical and business teams and translate between them.
- Vendor and contract coordination experience.
Language Requirements
- Spanish — Required (professional working proficiency).
- Portuguese — Required (professional working proficiency).
- English — Optional / desirable (a plus for global collaboration).
