The successful candidate will have knowledge of HR system data, be able to work with multiple data sets and have a strong ability to organise data. Technical ability will be demonstrated through data matching and reasoning, resulting in clean workable data. You will use your knowledge of local HR practices and framework surrounding employee entitlements to achieve desired outcomes. **Required technical and professional expertise** Key Tasks: Data Extraction * Extract data from multiple systems and archival sources as required. * Cleanse and de‑identify data, ensuring files are named, structured, and stored according to approved conventions for secure sharing with third‑party vendors. Data Analysis * Review and analyse data "workbooks" received from third‑party vendors, including interrogating and validating source data, verifying correct interpretation of data, and ensuring datasets are accurately integrated across multiple systems. * Assess issues and results from a holistic perspective, looking beyond raw data to understand the underlying drivers of discrepancies and identify key themes or trends that may influence calculations and methodology across the broader population. * Identify anomalies or irregularities that may indicate the root cause of known issues or highlight potential future risks related to data quality or source‑system limitations. Data and Results Validation * Conduct validation activities on outputs produced by third‑party vendors, including sampling, verification of data inputs, outcome checks, and documentation of discrepancies or issues. * Document findings in line with agreed conventions to maintain a clear, auditable, and reliable record of analysis and decisions. Key Skills: * Strong data analysis and data‑validation capability, including identifying anomalies, trends, and root causes. * Experience extracting, cleansing, and integrating data from multiple systems. * High attention to detail with the ability to maintain clear, accurate, and auditable documentation. * Proficiency with analytical tools and understanding of data structures and system flows. * Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to interpret findings in a broader business context. * Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills. * Knowledge of data governance, privacy requirements, and appropriate handling and de‑identification of data.
