Title: Cloud Systems Administrator
You'll Report To: Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations
The Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of American Integrity’s cloud-based technology platforms, including Exchange Online and M365. This role serves in an operational support capacity across multiple platforms including cloud infrastructure, identity management, collaboration technologies, endpoint management, and enterprise applications.
As a member of the IT Operations team, the Cloud Systems Administrator collaborates with Application Development and business stakeholders to support the day-to-day availability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are properly configured, monitored, and maintained in line with established compliance and scalability standards. Because American Integrity is a publicly traded residential property insurance carrier, this role also supports IT governance and regulatory compliance efforts, including maintaining documentation, executing internal controls, and assisting with audit requests related to SOX and other applicable regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
Cloud Systems and Infrastructure Administration
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related collaboration technologies.
- Administer and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure across multiple platforms and services., including Microsoft Exchange Online and M365 applications.
- Administer enterprise identity and access solutions including Active Directory and cloud identity services.
- Provision, configure, monitor, and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor system and platform health to proactively resolve issues as they arise.
- Follow security best practices including least privilege, multi-factor authentication, conditional access, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and privileged access management.
Security and Compliance
- Ensure administrative duties and activities comply with American Integrity security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure system configurations align with established governance standards and regulatory expectations applicable to a publicly traded insurance organization.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence supporting internal controls and audit readiness.
Operational Support
- Participate in on-call rotation for support to critical systems and RTO.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues.
Project Participation
- Participate in infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Assist with implementation of new technologies and enterprise software solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to increase security, efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Support automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure-as-code where appropriate.
What You’ll Need to be a Top Candidate
Education: Bachelor’s Dedegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience: Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible systems administration experience, primarily related to Microsoft Exchange Online.
- Experience administering enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments preferred.
- Experience working within regulated industries or publicly traded companies is preferred.
- Experience supporting SOX IT General Controls or other regulatory compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of many of the following:
- Microsoft Exchange Online
- Microsoft M365 administration
- Microsoft Azure, knowledge of AWS
- Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Intune / endpoint management
- PowerShell scripting
- Cloud Platform monitoring and logging solutions
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, including MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and CNAME, DHCP, TCP/IP, Mail flow and routing

Your Environment
Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone. Occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.
Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday. This role is in-office at our location in Tampa #LI-Onsite
Travel: Minimum, as required.
