Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Manager, Therapy Services, you will be responsible for planning, managing, promoting, and evaluating the overall clinical and administrative operations for the Rehabilitation Therapy Services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy) function at our facility. Every day you will ensure that overall regional goals relating to patient care, productivity, customer satisfaction, service growth, and regulatory compliance are achieved. You will develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance and streamline current procedures, facilitate quality service delivery, and ensure a safe environment of care. You will spearhead efforts to increase market share for the region, ensure that goals relating to reimbursement are achieved, and supervise subordinate staff providing physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services, including a regional Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) team and PRN Acute Care Therapists. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning capabilities, and a deep knowledge of rehabilitation therapy services and professional standards of practice.Operations: Manages and evaluates the operations, programs and resources of the assigned clinical area/facility to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic patient care, achievement of clinical core measurement scores, and to ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in compliance with organizational values, professional standards, collective bargaining agreements, internal policies/standards/procedures and applicable regulatory requirements; participates in the development of, and implements new clinical systems/programs to enhance existing services and raise the standard of care for the patient population served; ensures that work unit activities, productivity, and/or quality indicators are documented in accordance with FHS guidelines; produces and presents reports on key performance indicators and other significant benchmarking metrics; collaborates with other departments to address and resolve problems, share information and enhance overall effectiveness/productivity.Staff Management and Development: Plans, manages...
