Accountabilities:
- Monitor and analyze research, labor market trends, workforce data, policy developments, and sector insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic priorities in career pathways and skills development.
- Conduct environmental scans, literature reviews, and synthesis of occupational and workforce data to support program design and implementation.
- Lead knowledge mobilization efforts by translating complex research into accessible formats such as briefs, reports, presentations, blogs, and internal learning materials.
- Collaborate with communications and cross-functional teams to ensure insights are effectively shared and integrated into organizational strategy and narrative work.
- Develop and maintain structured knowledge systems and platforms to ensure information is organized, accessible, and continuously updated across teams and geographies.
- Support cross-country learning by identifying patterns, best practices, and transferable insights across Canada and the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in research, knowledge management, workforce development, economic development, or related fields, including hands-on experience in research or analysis.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into clear, compelling, and actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments, managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality knowledge products and presentations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with comfort working in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration and knowledge management tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and similar platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and cultural contexts.
