Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
One Identity | Finance Partner to Customer Success, Professional Services & Support
About the Role
One Identity is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to serve as the embedded finance partner to our Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support organizations. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will own the financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis that drive retention and expansion outcomes across the post-sales organization — most critically, owning and leading the company's ARR snowball model (the renewal, expansion, contraction, and churn waterfall that rolls up to net revenue retention). This is a high-visibility individual contributor role for someone who wants direct influence over how the business measures and drives recurring revenue health.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Own the ARR snowball model — build, maintain, and continuously refine the bridge from beginning ARR to ending ARR (new, expansion, contraction, churn, reactivation) at the cohort, segment, and company level; ensure it is the single source of truth used across Finance, CS, and executive reporting
- Serve as the dedicated finance business partner to the Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support leadership teams — embedding in their planning cycles, not just reviewing their numbers after the fact
- Forecast renewals, expansion, and churn/downsell with increasing precision over time; partner with CS leadership to build early-warning indicators for at-risk accounts and revenue
- Build and own the P&L for Professional Services and Support, including utilization, cost-to-serve, and margin analysis; identify opportunities to improve unit economics
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast process for the post-sales organizations, including headcount planning, cost modeling, and scenario analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking NRR, GRR, logo retention, churn drivers, renewal rates, PS margin, and support cost-to-serve; present insights to CFO and executive leadership
- Partner with Sales and RevOps to reconcile bookings, renewals, and ARR movements, ensuring consistency across CRM, billing, and finance systems
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on churn and contraction trends, identifying root causes and quantifying the financial impact of retention initiatives
- Support the CFO in board and PE sponsor reporting related to ARR health, net revenue retention, and post-sales unit economics
- Drive process improvement and automation to scale ARR reporting and reduce manual reconciliation as the business grow
Qualifications
About You
Experience & Skills
- 7–10 years of finance experience, with at least 3–4 years in FP&A, revenue operations, or a related strategic finance role at a SaaS company
- Deep, hands-on experience building and maintaining ARR waterfalls/snowball models — this is not a "nice to have," it's core to the role
- Strong grasp of SaaS retention metrics: NRR, GRR, logo churn, gross vs. net revenue retention, cohort analysis
- Experience partnering with Customer Success, Professional Services, or Support organizations, including cost-to-serve and utilization modeling
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills; comfort with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and CRM/billing systems (Salesforce, Gainsight, Zuora, or similar)
- Experience with ERP and FP&A planning tools (NetSuite, Anaplan, Planful, or similar)
- Familiarity with PE-backed organizations and sponsor-level reporting expectations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; MBA or CPA a plus
