We are seeking a Lead, HR Technology to join our HR Technology team and help drive the continuous improvement and strategic enhancement of our Workday platform.
This role is ideal for an experienced Workday professional who brings strong technical expertise, sound HR process knowledge, and a practical approach to solving business problems through technology. As a technical lead on the team, you will focus primarily on Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Learning, and Workday Journeys, helping improve key moments across the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Manager, HR Technology, you will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver scalable Workday solutions that support evolving organizational needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Solution Design & Configuration: Act as a subject matter expert for key Workday modules, leading the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of business process enhancements, system updates, and new features.
- Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to HR technology initiatives from requirements gathering through to deployment, including planning, stakeholder coordination, testing, and delivery.
- Process Optimization: Review existing HR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience through Workday.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business decision-making.
- Mentorship & Support: Serve as a senior escalation point for complex Workday issues, provide advanced troubleshooting, and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with partners across HR, IT, and the business to understand needs, provide consultation, and ensure technology solutions align with business priorities.
- System Governance: Support the health and integrity of the Workday platform, including security administration, data quality, testing discipline, and adherence to governance practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in Workday configuration, implementation, or ongoing platform support.
- Deep technical and functional expertise in at least two of the following Workday areas: Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning and People Experience.
- Experience designing, configuring, testing, and implementing Workday business process enhancements.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable system solutions.
- Experience with Workday reporting tools, including advanced reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across HR, IT, and the business.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience mentoring junior team members or providing technical guidance within an HR Technology team.

The expected salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year.
