Sr Data Engineer – Marketing & Marketing Measurement
Reporting to the Manager IT – Marketing, you will join Conagra Brands' Marketing IT team to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that support marketing measurement, media planning, and digital performance insights. You will build and maintain trusted data foundations that help marketers understand consumer behavior, optimize investment decisions, and measure performance across paid media, owned digital platforms, and social channels. Working closely with Marketing, Demand Science, analytics, and technology teams, you will leverage platforms including Databricks, Informatica, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, and Palantir to deliver scalable, reliable, and actionable data products.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that integrate marketing data from multiple sources into the enterprise data environment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Build and optimize complex SQL transformations to support marketing measurement, reporting, and analytical use cases.
- Design and manage data models supporting media spend, impressions, engagement, conversions, and digital behavior analytics.
- Develop, automate, and monitor extract, transform, and load workflows using Informatica, Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Optimize the performance of data pipelines, queries, and analytical processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for data workflows, transformations, definitions, and standards.
- Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
- Support data governance, privacy, security, and compliance initiatives within the Marketing organization.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to improve access to trusted marketing data and insights.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role supporting enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills including data transformation, query optimization, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining extract, transform, and load workflows and data pipelines using Informatica, Databricks, Python, or PySpark.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts, database design principles, and data quality practices.
- Experience supporting marketing analytics, media measurement, digital analytics, or social reporting preferred.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Palantir, or similar marketing and analytics platforms preferred.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Compensation
Pay Range:$94,300-$138,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
