SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

Our work depends on a Senior Contracts Administrator joining our team to support the fast paced growing portfolio of a highly diverse suite of federal civilian agencies of our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. This position requires a clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.
HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Administer contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, status reporting, and product delivery
Begin to provide advice on and interpretation of contract requirements, White papers, and capture strategy
Prepare/maintain RFP checklist and participate in the review and preparation of proposals including communication and scheduling details and coordination of requirements
Administer contractual elements of change management - Proposes and facilitates contract modifications and may lead negotiations when required
Coordinate contract requirement fulfillment with programs
Perform additional duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your Contract Administration expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Contracts Administrator must have:
- Education: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
- Experience: 5+ years of related Contract Administration experience
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance
- Role requirements:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with various contract types
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements
- Location: This is a hybrid role working at our GDIT Facility located in Falls Church, VA. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.
