About F2
F2 is building the AI platform for private markets. Our customers use F2 to turn complex deal materials, proprietary data, and institutional knowledge into accurate, auditable work across screening, diligence, underwriting, investment committee preparation, and portfolio monitoring.
We work with leading private-equity firms, private-credit investors, commercial and investment banks, and other sophisticated financial institutions. We are backed by Highland Capital, NFX, Left Lane, Y Combinator, and other leading investors.
We are now building the ecosystem around F2: the advisors who influence our buyers, the systems and data sources our customers rely on, and the institutions that shape the next generation of private-markets leaders.
The role
We are hiring a Partnerships Lead to build that ecosystem from the ground up.
This is not a role for collecting logos or managing a directory of inactive partners. You will identify the relationships that can materially expand F2's distribution, strengthen the product, and accelerate trust in the market. Then you will make them work.
You will build reseller and go-to-market partnerships with consulting firms, technology and implementation partners, M&A law firms, fund service providers, and other trusted advisors. You will launch integrations and data relationships across CRM, virtual data room, finance, and information platforms. You will also develop credibility partnerships with leading business schools, industry groups, and influential practitioners.
You will own the full partnership lifecycle: market mapping, partner thesis, business case, commercial negotiation, internal alignment, launch, enablement, adoption, pipeline, and performance.
What you will do
Build distribution partnerships
Map and prioritize the consulting, systems integration, legal, advisory, and fund-services firms that influence F2's target customers.
Design and negotiate referral, reseller, co-sell, co-delivery, and embedded partnership models.
Build the business case, economics, operating model, account rules, and launch plan for each strategic relationship.
Create partner onboarding, certification, messaging, demo training, sales plays, and joint account plans.
Train partner sales and delivery teams to identify qualified opportunities and represent F2 with credibility.
Run joint pipeline reviews and turn partner relationships into measurable opportunities and revenue.
Partner with Marketing on launches, campaigns, events, research, and customer stories.
Build the technology and data ecosystem
Identify the CRM, data room, finance, portfolio, research, and market-data integrations that matter most to F2 customers.
Build relationships with software and data providers across the private-markets ecosystem.
Structure common-client, data redistribution, resale, integration, and embedded-distribution agreements.
Translate customer demand and partner requirements into clear priorities for Product and Engineering.
Quarterback integrations across external partners and internal Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Revenue, and Customer Success teams.
Preserve F2 as the system of record for validated intelligence while enabling customers to push approved outputs into the systems where their teams work.
Define practical, phased integration plans with the right validation and customer controls.
Own the commercial launch, field enablement, adoption plan, and performance measurement for each integration.
Create direct customer demand around integrations rather than waiting for a platform partner to distribute them.
Build credibility and category leadership
Develop partnerships with leading business schools, industry associations, practitioner communities, and other trusted institutions.
Launch programs that put F2 in the hands of future private-equity, private-credit, venture-capital, and investment-banking leaders.
Build campus ambassador, faculty, classroom, and practitioner programs that create long-term advocacy and distribution.
Evaluate opportunities based on target-market credibility, access to buyers, quality of collaboration, and willingness to co-market.
Work with Marketing to turn partnerships into useful research, programming, social proof, earned attention, and qualified demand.
Build the operating system
Create the partner map, segmentation, lifecycle, approval process, and reporting cadence.
Establish clear standards for partner qualification, activation, account ownership, attribution, and performance.
Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, integration adoption, trained partner sellers, and time to first revenue.
Run executive reviews and make clear recommendations on where F2 should invest, accelerate, pause, or walk away.
What success looks like
In your first year, you will:
Build a focused network of productive distribution partners that creates qualified pipeline and revenue.
Launch and activate the CRM, data, and workflow integrations customers most consistently request.
Turn existing strategic relationships into clear joint business plans, trained partner teams, target accounts, and measurable outcomes.
Establish repeatable processes for taking a partnership from thesis to agreement, launch, adoption, and revenue.
Create one or more credibility programs that strengthen F2's category authority and future buyer network.
Make partnership performance as visible and measurable as direct sales and product investment.
What we are looking for
5+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, ecosystem development, business development, or a related role in B2B SaaS, fintech, data, enterprise software, or vertical AI.
A track record of building partnerships from zero to measurable commercial results.
Direct experience with reseller, referral, co-sell, integration, data, or embedded-distribution agreements.
Strong commercial judgment. You can build a business case, negotiate economics, protect pricing and customer ownership, manage channel conflict, and walk away from a weak opportunity.
Enough technical fluency to lead conversations about APIs, authentication, security, data rights, integration dependencies, and customer workflows.
Experience enabling another company's sales or delivery organization through training, certification, messaging, and joint sales plays.
Excellent cross-functional program management across Revenue, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Security, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success.
Executive presence and the ability to build trust with senior leaders across finance, technology, consulting, legal, and data organizations.
Strong writing, structured thinking, high autonomy, and a bias toward action.
A builder's mindset. You are comfortable setting the strategy and doing the detailed work required to make it real.
Especially valuable
A network across private equity, private credit, commercial or investment banking, financial data, private-markets software, consulting, legal, or fund services.
Experience with ecosystems around private-markets CRM, data room, research, and market-data platforms.
Experience launching integrations or data partnerships that drove meaningful product adoption or revenue.
Familiarity with AI products, unstructured financial data, agent workflows, MCP, or enterprise automation.
Experience building academic, association, or practitioner programs that generated commercial value.
Why F2
Build the function: Define how partnerships work at F2 rather than inherit a mature program.
Work on partnerships that matter: The opportunity spans distribution, product, data, and category leadership, not a narrow referral channel.
Operate at the center of the company: Work directly with the CRO, CEO, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and customers.
Shape an emerging category: Private markets are moving from AI experimentation to production. Help define the ecosystem around the platform that wins.
See your work compound: A strong partner can expand distribution, improve the product, deepen customer workflows, and build trust at the same time.
How we work
F2 is ambitious, direct, and highly collaborative. We value people who form a clear point of view, communicate it well, and take responsibility for the outcome. We move quickly, but we do not confuse activity with progress. We care about partnerships that create real customer value and measurable business results.
F2 is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and make employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
