Position Details
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal parts according to customer specifications. The Press Brake Operator will inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed. The successful Press Brake Operator will safely operate equipment, maintain an organized work area, and work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals. Previous Press Brake Operator experience is required, including the ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and perform machine setups. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Perform machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed.
- Measure finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain production quotas while producing high-quality work.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous press brake operator experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience setting up and operating press brake equipment.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
