At CooperSurgical, we are currently looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager for our Fertility business covering the Nordics, Baltics and the Netherlands. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a diverse commercial organization across Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. This is a field-based leadership role with responsibility for driving growth across the full CooperSurgical Fertility portfolio, including Equipment, Consumables, Genomics, Embryo Options and Services. The position is preferably home-based in Denmark or Sweden

 

 

As a Regional Sales Manager within the CooperSurgical Fertility business, you will be responsible for leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing commercial team while delivering the region’s Annual Operating Plan. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution, working closely with Account Managers, Equipment Sales Managers, Clinical Application Specialists, the Regional Field Product Manager, the Regional Tender Manager, and cross-functional partners across EMEA. 

You are an experienced sales leader who thrives in a matrix environment and knows how to translate business strategy into measurable results. You build strong customer relationships, engage effectively with key opinion leaders and senior stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to guide decisions and accelerate growth.

You have a strong understanding of public procurement processes and tender management within healthcare markets. You bring proven experience in leading public tender activities, developing winning bidding strategies, and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders throughout complex procurement processes. You will work closely with our Regional Tender Manager to identify opportunities, maximize tender success rates, and ensure full alignment between commercial objectives and tender execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the regional sales organization to achieve sales and business objectives.

  • Own and deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including sales targets, budget management and resource allocation.

  • Drive commercial execution through effective pipeline management using CRM (D365), Power BI and other analytical tools.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders and strategic accounts.

  • Support product launches and accelerate adoption of existing solutions across the Fertility portfolio.

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Application Specialists, Business Development, Genomics, Witness Application Specialists and the Regional Field Product Manager.

  • Partner with the EMEA Key Account Director and local Key Account Leads to execute strategic account initiatives.

  • Lead and support public tender activities across the region in close collaboration with the Regional Tender Manager.

  • Develop and execute winning tender strategies, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring high-quality tender submissions.

  • Monitor public procurement opportunities and align commercial priorities to maximize success in tender processes.

  • Promote a culture of Ethics & Compliance and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Actively contribute to regional leadership initiatives and share best practices across geographies. 

  • University degree in Science, Business, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Management, preferably within fertility, assisted reproductive technology (ART), medical devices, healthcare, or in vitro diagnostics.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing successful commercial teams in a multicultural and matrix environment.

  • Strong business acumen with experience in budget ownership and commercial strategy implementation.

  • Customer-focused leader with hands-on field sales experience.

  • Proven experience managing public tenders and procurement processes within healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or a related industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with tender management teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop successful bidding strategies.

  • Strong understanding of public procurement regulations and tendering procedures across European healthcare markets.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Power BI, Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Fluent in English; additional Scandinavian languages are an advantage.

  • Analytical, resilient, collaborative and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
