Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engineering automation solutions using Siemens Rulestream.
- Create and maintain rules, workflows, and object models within Rulestream.
- Analyze business and engineering requirements and translate them into rule-based logic.
- Integrate Rulestream with enterprise systems such as PLM (Teamcenter), ERP, CAD tools, or web services.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces, forms, and reports within Rulestream applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to rule execution, workflows, and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and IT teams to optimize automation processes.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Rulestream or similar rule-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Rulestream (architecture, modeling, rule creation).
- Strong programming knowledge in:
- .NET / C#
- VB.NET (preferred in legacy implementations)
- Understanding of:
- Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Engineering design processes
- Configuration/validation systems
- Experience with database concepts (SQL Server).
- Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter).
- Familiarity with CAD systems (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of manufacturing or product configuration processes.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
