Skip to content IBM < Back to search results Strategic Sourcing Buyer BUDAPEST, Budapest, Hungary Professional Email X LinkedIn Apply now Introduction IBM is seeking a self-driven and highly motivated strategic sourcing professional with proven experience to join our IBM Procurement Services team, supporting key client initiatives.As a Strategic Sourcing Professional, you will take ownership of and lead projects, including providing valuable category insights to support and maintain the development of sourcing strategies. Your role and responsibilities As a Procurement Sourcing Professional (Strategic Sourcing professional), you will provide sourcing support to all IBM internal and external clients, covering all sourcing and delivery needs. This role requires a varying degree of sourcing knowledge, from end-to-end sourcing and procurement practice to deep subject matter expertise in commodity sourcing. Your primary responsibilities will include:You will design and execute procurement strategic sourcing strategies, utilizing procurement business skills and deeper procurement sourcing skills to meet client needs.You will be responsible for independently managing large-scale procurement projects, requiring strong critical thinking, effective stakeholder management, and advanced negotiation skills.You will oversee ongoing procurement activities, which include but not limited to generating savings, and increasing category compliance.You will build and maintain open, transparent relationships with business colleagues, helping to mitigate resistance to change.You will gather and analyze data to provide actionable insights that support key decision-making.
