As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will lead the global supply chain network to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and optimize labor and machine resources to achieve business goals.
Responsible for maintaining the proper supply and flow of materials to ensure customer demand is met efficiently and on time.
- Schedule production to meet daily customer demand using Work-In-Process (WIP) reports.
- Plan, create, release, and manage work orders using SAP to meet internal and external customer due dates while ensuring proper WIP flow.
- Maintain detailed SAP and Excel reports to track material shortages and support On-Time Performance (OTTP) objectives for manufacturing and material delivery to production lines.
- Manage material planning using SAP, KANBAN, Min-Max, and periodic review methodologies.
- Manage order confirmations, goods receipts (MIGO), and CO27 transactions within SAP.
- Ship finished units to customers and prepare shipping documentation using SAP.
- Coordinate warehouse activities, ensure timely deliveries to production, and establish priorities as needed.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute production requirements and demand in a timely manner to ensure continuous material flow throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor material availability and collaborate with the Purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials in support of established production schedules and product lines.
- Coordinate the purchase of production supplies with local suppliers.
- Plan and request hazardous materials from local suppliers and the corporate manufacturing site.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in Safety, Health, and Environmental training programs and actively comply with company policies and practices in these areas while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Contribute to the identification and mitigation of operational risks related to the provision of products and services to internal and external customers.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning, Supply Chain, and/or Purchasing
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other relevant business software applications.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
- Advanced English proficiency with strong reading, writing, and conversational communication skill
