Key Responsibilities
The Electro-Technical Officer is responsible to the Chief Engineer for:· Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment· Adopting safe working practices · UMS test schedules, alarm test etc· Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance· First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment· Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations
