Staff Pharmacist - Accredo - Memphis, TN
Location: This position is onsite at our Memphis, TN location.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
In addition to the base hourly rate, hours worked after 6:00 PM qualify for a shift differential, resulting in increased hourly pay.

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and company standards.
- Review and interpret physician orders, identify potential medication concerns, and apply clinical judgment to support safe patient outcomes.
- Oversee fulfillment operations to maintain quality, efficiency, and accuracy across the dispensing process.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians, helping develop a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Monitor medication therapies and recommend interventions when appropriate to promote patient safety.
- Resolve operational and clinical challenges by applying professional judgment, established procedures, and problem-solving skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, quality, and service.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment while following infection control and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed of current pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry developments to support ongoing operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Pharmacist (RPh) license in good standing.
- 1+ year of pharmacist experience in a retail, specialty, mail order, hospital, or fulfillment pharmacy setting.
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, and evaluate prescriptions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care, quality, accuracy, and customer service.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to support changing business needs, including peak-volume periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
- Experience working in a fulfillment, specialty, mail order, or high-volume pharmacy environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or training pharmacy technicians and support staff.
