Engine Workshop Technician (12-month FTC)
We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Aftermarket Service Spain Country Support Department in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is fully on -site Monday to Friday and will require up to 10% of domestic travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Contribute to high-quality engine repairs by supporting the cleaning, inspection, disassembly, and assembly processes, helping ensure components are prepared and rebuilt to company standards.

Support workshop productivity by assisting with basic repair and maintenance activities while following Standard Repair Times (SRTs), documented procedures, and best practices.

Help improve equipment reliability by assisting with Stamford alternator modifications and Onan generator inspections and servicing.

Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and operating correctly.

Demonstrate attention to detail by accurately completing work records, timesheets, and required service documentation.

Build technical expertise through continuous training and hands-on learning, developing the skills needed to perform increasingly complex maintenance and repair tasks.

Promote a strong safety culture by following all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations, and proactively reporting hazards or incidents.

Support overall workshop success by assisting with a variety of maintenance and operational activities, contributing to team goals, customer satisfaction, and equipment performance.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, enabling you to safely support engine, alternator, and generator inspections, repairs, and assembly activities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring repairs are completed according to Standard Repair Times (SRTs), documented procedures, and company standards.
A safety-first mindset, consistently following Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and proactively identifying and reporting hazards or incidents.
Good organization and teamwork skills, allowing you to maintain accurate documentation, keep tools and work areas in excellent condition, and effectively support workshop operations.
Education/ Experience:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Minimal level of work shop experience required or basic level knowledge of engine products
Basic mechanical knowledge
