The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, testing expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products through comprehensive quality assurance processes.The Software Tester / QA Analyst / Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure software solutions meet business and technical requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Perform manual, functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and automation scripts.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects and issues.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.Conduct API, database, performance, and security testing when required.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and quality assurance activities.Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.Ensure software releases meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.Maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.Contribute to the improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.Experience with manual testing, defect tracking, and test case management.Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.Experience with API testing and database validation.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple testing activities and deadlines effectively.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.Previous experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, software development, or related technical roles.Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, cloud environments, and DevOps practices is beneficial.Knowledge of performance testing, security...
