We’re seeking an exceptional Pursuit & Proposal Director to elevate sales support and drive win strategies for complex global and regional sales opportunities. Working closely with sales leads in a hybrid environment you’ll manage complex, high value pursuits according to a defined process from strategy and content development through proposal submissions, presentations, and any other deliverables related to the opportunity. You will confidently direct large teams in complex efforts, creating and reinforcing project plans to ensure we are bringing our best to every pursuit and are fully compliant in every respect, resulting in memorable and compelling proposals that drive new business. This highly visible position demands a confident, creative communications professional who thrives on taking initiative and bringing strategic thinking, exceptional writing, and collaborative leadership to every engagement. Ideally located in Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, Menlo Park CA, or another of JLL's core markets.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Create and refine high-impact content that articulates key themes, processes, methodologies, and integrated service strategies across all service components
  • Develop creative, standout deliverables that reflect regional nuance and differentiate JLL in competitive marketplaces
  • Maintain quality and accuracy across multiple concurrent pursuits while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Effectively delegate and prioritize, setting clear expectations for quality and timeliness from team members 
  • Leverage approved AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline delivery and enhance proposal quality
  • Develop and adopt process improvements and best practices related to business development and proposal management 
  • Mentor and coach other team members to continually improve team development 

Qualifications 

  • At least eight years of related business development marketing communications experience, with at least four of those working directly in B2B proposal management   
  • Commercial real estate industry experience highly valued
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation skills, and the ability to interface with senior leadership 
  • Creative design skills strongly preferred 
  • Ability to translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and logical communications 
  • Flexible and proactive individual able to work under their own initiative with diverse teams 
  • Ability to produce multiple deliverables quickly, while maintaining quality and accuracy 
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and InDesign or Adobe Suite

Estimated compensation for this position:

109,090.00 – 146,590.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
