About the Role
This is a hunter-focused sales role responsible for driving new business growth across hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical schools, and universities throughout the region. You will identify, develop, and close opportunities while positioning Elsevier's portfolio of clinical decision support and medical education solutions, including ClinicalKey, ClinicalKey AI, Complete Anatomy, Osmosis, and other innovative healthcare solutions. While collaborating with internal teams to support customer success and account growth opportunities, the primary focus of this role is acquiring new customers and expanding Elsevier's presence across the region.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth across hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical schools, and universities throughout the region
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities for Elsevier's healthcare solutions portfolio
- Position ClinicalKey, ClinicalKey AI, Complete Anatomy, Osmosis, and other innovative healthcare solutions with prospective customers
- Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline through proactive prospecting and pipeline generation
- Navigate complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive decision-makers
- Use a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and build trusted relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success and account growth opportunities
- Expand Elsevier's presence across Mexico and Central America
Requirements
- Proven track record in new business development and exceeding sales targets
- Strong hunter mindset with excellent prospecting and pipeline generation skills
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive decision-makers
- Consultative selling approach and strong relationship-building abilities
- Experience in healthcare, health technology, medical education, SaaS, or scientific information solutions preferred
- Advanced English proficiency
- Willingness to travel across Mexico and Central America
