Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases.

Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:

  • $10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception

  • 100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and

  • 25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Trust & Safety Ops Enablement Program Manager to support our mission.

This role is based in Porto and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Team

The Trust & Safety Programs Team is the operational backbone of Patreon's Trust & Safety organization. We sit at the intersection of policy, engineering, and operations, partnering across teams to build the systems, programs, and processes that keep Patreon safe for creators and their communities.

Our team spans New Product Integration, Tooling Development, Vendor Management, Learning & Development, Quality Assurance, and Machine Learning Operations, all united by a shared commitment to building things that scale.

We're in an active phase of growth and maturation. The foundation is in place, and we're now focused on bringing more structure and efficiency to how we operate. If you thrive in an environment where you can shape what "good" looks like and your contributions have real visibility, this team is a strong fit.

About the Role

  • Own and consolidate workflow enablement for T&S Ops — serving as the single DRI for external workflow creation, cross-functional coordination with Policy, and change management to reduce time-to-launch and improve consistency across internal and external review flows.

  • Build and maintain process infrastructure for the T&S Operations team, including documenting new and evolving workflows, creating scalable escalation frameworks, and establishing clear standards for how operational changes are communicated and implemented.

  • Partner with Data Analyst and Data Science partners to interpret and communicate self-serve dashboards and reporting that track operational performance, resource allocation, and volume trends across our review tiers — translating data outputs into actionable insights that inform workflow migration and resource planning decisions.

  • Serve as the T&S Ops DRI for cross-functional business reporting, including consolidated operational reporting across internal verticals and external BPO performance, and leading root cause analysis (RCA) for significant metric movements — authoring RCAs for BPO-related shifts and quarterbacking RCA completion for internal vertical movements owned by Vertical Leads or Vertical PMs.

  • Represent T&S Ops in data development conversations — surfacing operational requirements to Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analyst partners to inform dataset expansion and maturation, and helping articulate current and future state data needs from an operational lens.

  • Support forecasting and capacity planning exercises in partnership with Data and Vendor Management POCs, helping connect operational performance signals to budget and resource planning decisions.

  • Collaborate with Policy, Engineering, and Vertical Lead partners to align on process changes, launch readiness, and operational priorities — bringing structure to cross-functional coordination and ensuring T&S Ops is a proactive partner in product and program launches.

About You

  • Direct experience in Trust & Safety operations — including content moderation, policy enforcement, or escalation handling — with a strong understanding of how operational decisions impact platform safety outcomes.

  • A track record of building or improving processes in a fast-moving environment, including documenting workflows, managing change, and creating structure where little existed before.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Policy, Engineering, Data, or Vendor partners to align on priorities and drive programs forward.

  • Comfort working with data to inform decisions — whether pulling together operational metrics, interpreting dashboard outputs, or partnering with Data teams to shape reporting. Beginner to intermediate SQL experience is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational information into clear documentation, structured reports, and crisp stakeholder updates.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize effectively in an environment with shifting demands, and maintain clarity and momentum when requirements are still evolving.

  • Proficiency with some or all of the following tools: Slack, Asana, LucidChart, Atlassian/Jira, Tableau, Mode Analytics — or a demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new tools quickly.

  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to work — comfortable operating as a support function for a broader team while also taking clear ownership of your own scope.
