As a Remote Inside Sales Manager (Remote ISM) at Capital One, you will lead, motivate, and oversee a high-performance team of up to 10 Remote Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers. In this role, you will ensure strict adherence to sales protocols while driving results—including loan originations and product sales—to consistently meet and exceed Sales Performance Objectives.
This position monitors and grants credit exceptions within authorized policy limits. Additionally, you will train, develop, and certify your team to effectively sell and support Capital One Auto products, including the Navigator Platform, Pre-Approval, and Direct Mail, while providing the coaching necessary to master essential sales processes.
Balancing team leadership with direct market execution, you will also manage a defined territory of dealers. In this capacity, you will drive business growth through proactive relationship building, negotiation, and the strategic decisioning of submitted applications.
Responsibilities:
Sales Coaching: Responsible for providing expert sales coaching in a hybrid environment (in person, remote, and in the field) to ensure your high-performance sales team meets and exceeds all critical performance objectives.
Analysis & Process Organization: Must possess a well-developed capacity to analyze and organize a sales team of representatives, including driving efficiencies in time management, account management, problem-solving, and dealer/customer interaction skills.
Talent Acquisition & Management: Ownership of the team’s recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of associate talent.
Performance Optimization & Feedback: Offer impactful performance feedback through intentional employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when necessary, while guiding employee success using a framework that encourages open contribution, feedback, and professional growth.
Career Development & Empowerment: Empower career development planning and progression opportunities; delegate responsibility effectively while welcoming mutual accountability and regular feedback.

Schedule Expectations:
Available ~3 Saturdays a month as needed to cover dealer inquiries and escalations with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off
In office 5 days a week for the first 90 day training period
Potential to work up to 2 Sundays a month with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
At least 2 years of Financial Services Experience or Business to Business Sales Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience in Indirect Auto Finance
2+ years of experience in Credit Underwriting
3+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Plano, TX: $138,100 - $157,700 for Inside Sales Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
