**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Team HR Partner, you will work closely with line management and executive teams to drive performance and growth through people and culture strategies. You will provide HR thought leadership, guidance, and execution, collaborating with the BU HR Leader and Upline Leadership to develop trusting relationships and earn confidence.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Client Engagement (IBM employees and managers)
* Provide a delightful experience to IBM employees and managers by resolving HR issues/requests with high quality in a timely manner
* Engage with Employees and Managers via AskHR to provide advice and counsel through coaching
* Collaborate across all HR functions to provide a complete solution. Act as a single point of contact for employees/manager issues with minimal handoffs.
* Prepare and issue employee-related documentation when applicable, ensuring accuracy, with adherence to HR policies and compliance requirements.
HR Projects & Enablement
* Participate in squads and/or projects in support of Functional, Market and Business Unit initiatives
* Support on Mergers and Acquisitions if identified as part of project team
* Support of Manager Enablement Events, including facilitating Management Development Offerings
* Manage Social Engagement (e.g., slack channels) for driving HR programs / offerings
Continual process/client experience improvement
* Responsible for driving continual process improvement to simplify, streamline, and improve the employee and manager experience
* Provide feedback and transformation ideas to key stakeholders, such as the AskHR chatbot team, HR offering leaders, etc.
Ways of Working
* Promote and leverage AskHR (HR support model) when engaging with clients.
* Document employee requests accurately using available tools enabling information to be leveraged by other team members.
* Use agile methods to prioritize deliverables; use Slack, Web meetings and other technology to assist our clients
* Follow up with client to ensure all questions have been answered and no additional support is required before closing a request.
* Work in global and multidisciplinary teams
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, across all HR Functions
* Work as "one HR" team, providing subject matter expertise, support, and feedback when needed
* Attend/ listen to recordings of all functional/business enablement and ensure being up to date on all the changes, priorities, etc in the business and functions
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* English: Fluent
* Proficiency in an additional European language would be an advantage
* Strong client focus with the ability to deliver high-quality HR support to employees and managers
* Experience in handling HR queries and providing guidance, coaching, and advisory support
* Ability to own and resolve requests end-to-end with minimal handoffs
* Knowledge of HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements with attention to detail
* Experience working on HR projects or cross-functional initiative
* Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify processes and enhance client experience
* Ability to work in agile, global, and cross-functional teams using collaboration tools
* Strong documentation, follow-up, and ownership skills
* Team player mindset with willingness to stay up to date on HR and business priorities
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Strategic Problem Solving: Exposure to thinking strategically about leadership and talent as accelerators for growth, with the ability to be innovative, creative, and bold when solving problems and addressing new opportunities.
• Leadership Coaching: Experience working with a variety of leadership styles, including influencing, guiding, and directing to help leaders be the best they can be.
• Workforce Optimization: Exposure to proactively addressing opportunities and issues related to workforce planning and optimization, including hiring, attrition, and labor cost management.
