Accountabilities:

    The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and test embedded software solutions while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient real-time systems.

    • Develop and maintain embedded software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
    • Design and implement firmware solutions for real-time embedded systems.
    • Write efficient and maintainable code using C and C++ programming languages.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded software with hardware components and larger system architectures.
    • Analyze technical requirements and contribute to software design decisions and system improvements.
    • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of embedded applications.
    • Support testing activities to ensure software reliability, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
    • Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
    • Apply software development best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing embedded software, strong programming abilities, and the ability to independently deliver solutions in a remote engineering environment.

      • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
      • Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
      • Experience developing software for real-time embedded systems.
      • Knowledge of firmware architecture, development processes, and embedded software design principles.
      • Experience working across the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
      • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software and hardware-related issues.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
      • Experience with hardware integration is preferred.
      • Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG is a plus.
      • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is preferred.
