Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Finance Manager to act as the right hand of the General Manager, driving financial performance, co-owning the P&L, and ensuring sustainable growth.You will be the architect of financial decision-making, transforming data into actionable insights, ensuring execution of all financial operations, and supporting strategy implementation across the country.This is a leadership role with significant exposure to both regional and HQ stakeholders and will position you as a key player for future growth   THE JOURNEY:Act as the General Manager’s strategic partner in high-stakes decisions, influencing all business functions.Drive short and long-term profitability, ensuring initiatives are grounded in financial logic.Own the financial execution — forecasting, free cash flow, budgeting, and ensuring accounting/billing accuracy.Lead the treasury function and manage relationships with banks, PSPs, tax authorities, and partners.Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Commercial, Marketing, etc.) to align execution with financial priorities.Lead a Finance team of 4, guiding and mentoring top talent.Ensure continuous P&L optimization through actionable insights and financial modeling.Act as a culture carrier and leader, supporting the Country Leadership Team in its mission to “win the market.”Qualifications6–8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit, or corporate finance.Strong financial acumen with advanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and P&L ownership.Track record of driving financial performance and working with advanced financial models.Strategic mindset with ability to translate complexity into clear levers of growth and profitability.Strong experience in team leadership and talent development.Advanced analytical skills and ability to present quantitative data with clarity.E-commerce / Delivery industry experience preferred.Hands-on, autonomous, and resilient, thriving in fast-paced, high-intensity environments.Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).Strong cultural fit with Glovo values (Gas, Glownership, Good Vibes, Stay Humble, Care).SkillsProblem solvingStrong problem-solving skills - you are hypothesis-driven & looking for data to drive decisionsAn ability to take any problem, deep dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions and communicate to stakeholdersPresentation & Communication skillsGreat communication and interpersonal skillsAn ability to summarise and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholdersTeam leadership3+ years of experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve collective goalsExperience building and managing high-performance teams to achieve ambitious goals: strong organisational skills and delegation, ability to prioritise and multitask, work well under pressure, and handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environmentBusiness acumenProven track record of understanding and empathising with colleagues’ / partners' challenges, and objectives to create strategies and deliver value through collaborationStakeholder collaborationExternal: Proven experience of working with external partners and governmental authorities to align on strategic initiatives and ensure seamless collaborationInternal: You’re an expert on managing stakeholders, working with peers, and leveraging other teams aspiring to do what’s best for the companyProject managementHighly organised and detail-oriented approach, you are able...
