Accountabilities

    The Client Engagement Lead will own client relationships, engagement outcomes, and commercial performance while ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives and long-term partnerships.

    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for multiple client engagements, building trusted partnerships and understanding client goals, challenges, and priorities.
    • Ensure engagements deliver measurable business value while maintaining strong client satisfaction and healthy project performance.
    • Align client expectations with delivery capabilities and proactively address risks, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Own engagement profitability by monitoring budgets, margins, project health, and financial performance indicators.
    • Develop, write, and negotiate Statements of Work for new project phases and expansion opportunities.
    • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
    • Participate in sales activities, helping shape solutions, proposals, and commercial strategies for new opportunities.
    • Maintain accountability for delivery health, including scope, timeline, quality, and client outcomes.
    • Make strategic tradeoff decisions and provide clear recommendations when navigating project challenges.
    • Lead delivery rhythms for smaller engagements, including planning sessions, milestone reviews, and stakeholder communications.
    • Partner with project managers on larger engagements by focusing on strategy, scope management, and client alignment.
    • Coach teams on client services best practices, communication, expectation management, and effective escalation.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing client relationships, leading technology engagements, and driving commercial outcomes in a consulting or product-focused environment.

      • 5+ years of experience in client services, technical program management, delivery leadership, or a similar client-facing technology role.
      • Proven experience owning client relationships and engagement outcomes, beyond supporting responsibilities.
      • Ability to independently create and negotiate Statements of Work and manage commercial discussions.
      • Experience managing project budgets, financial metrics, and engagement profitability.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives, manage difficult conversations, and influence stakeholders.
      • Strong technical fluency with the ability to understand engineering concepts and translate client needs into actionable solutions.
      • Experience with complex technology products, IoT, connected devices, or software-enabled solutions preferred.
      • Background in electronics hardware, firmware, embedded systems, or product development is a strong advantage.
      • Experience working with contract manufacturers, pre-sales activities, or solutions engineering is preferred.
      • Ability to estimate project scope accurately and challenge assumptions when needed.
      • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, epics, tickets, and delivery workflows.
      • Strong leadership presence with the ability to build trust, develop teams, and drive accountability.
