Senior Manager, Energy Services Operations
Job Summary
We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Senior Manager to help stand up and scale a new business venture. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution; designing and operationalizing core business processes, leading complex cross-functional programs, and driving initiatives that enable the business to launch, grow, and operate efficiently.The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, can quickly translate ideas into structured processes, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to build from the ground up.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Business Process Design & Optimization
- Design and implement end-to-end business processes to support the launch and scaling of the new venture
- Establish standards, SOPs, and governance to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality
- Continuously evaluate and refine processes based on performance data and business needs
Program & Initiative Leadership
- Own and deliver complex, cross-functional programs from concept through execution (roadmaps, milestones, KPIs)
- Translate strategic priorities into structured initiatives with clear deliverables, timelines, and ownership
- Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Stand up program governance, reporting cadences, and stakeholder alignment mechanisms
Operational Build & Execution
- Act as a builder—developing tools, trackers, templates, and workflows needed to operationalize the business
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to implement scalable operating models
- Support pilot launches, MVP development, and iterative improvements as the business evolves
- Define & Monitor KPIs and success metrics aligned to business goals
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
