Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Faculty Physician, you will help the BNI staff neuro-anesthesiologist provide medical services within the scope of their licensing, training, and clinical privileges, and supervise and teach residents and/or fellows so they can ensure high quality care and educate future medical professionals. Every day you will teach the community, medical students, residents, and medical staff on various clinical subjects. You will be expected to provide direct inpatient/outpatient medical care to patients and consultations, participate in meaningful research, and actively contribute to the department's quality improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship, and a dedication to patient care and continuous quality improvement.Teaches the lay community, medical students, residents and medical staff.Assists in directing the patient care and medical education.Participates in the preparation of meaningful research and scientific activities.Assists department in collecting data for medical quality/performance improvement (QI) program for department.Prepares articles and presentations on behalf of the organization.Provides input to department leadership in development of action plans to achieve financial performance objectives for the department.
