About CookUnity:
Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.
Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.
If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.
About the Team:
Product Marketing sits at the center of how CookUnity brings its marketplace to life — translating the strength of our 500+ chef network into launches and experiences that drive comprehension, adoption, and retention. As a lean, high-leverage function, PMM owns the go-to-market surface end to end: from how a new SKU or product line reaches the right eater, to how merchandising, lifecycle, and in-product moments land the way our product deserves.
The role:
We're looking for an Associate / Sr. Associate, Product Marketing to execute the launches, campaigns, and tactics that put CookUnity's product in front of the right customers. This is an entry-level IC role built for someone early in their PMM career who wants to learn go-to-market from the inside of a marketplace — owning a single launch or campaign at a time, to a high quality bar, with the support and feedback of a senior partner. You'll get real ownership of defined work quickly, and a front-row seat to how chef-network differentiation and retention translate into growth.
Responsibilities:
- Execute elements of GTM launches — merchandising units, single-SKU launches, lifecycle moments, and campaigns — to a high quality bar, with regular feedback and guidance on sequencing and prioritization.
- Own a single launch, campaign, or tactic end to end, with well-defined objectives and one GTM surface in focus at a time.
- Measure and analyze the performance of your launches and tactics — pulling the data, reading the results, and turning them into clear takeaways that inform the next iteration.
- Conduct competitive and category research, and surface clear, actionable learnings to your manager and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create and produce GTM assets — from briefs and messaging to merchandising and campaign content — partnering with creative and cross-functional teams to bring launches to life.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, Lifecycle/CRM, Ops) to deliver on commitments, communicating blockers and risks proactively and early.
- Use AI tooling to speed up your own execution — drafting, research, and first-pass analysis — and build fluency in where automation fits the workflow.
- Contribute to team culture, actively seek and act on feedback, and support the onboarding of newer teammates.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in product, product marketing, consulting, UXR (Sr. Associate: toward the upper end).
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling, reading, and interpreting performance data, and using it to shape decisions and measure impact. Being comfortable with Snowflake and Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to turn research and data into clear takeaways for stakeholders.
- Organized and reliable execution — you deliver defined projects to a high bar and communicate status and blockers proactively.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and coordinating with partners to hit shared commitments.
- Curiosity about consumer behavior, marketplaces, and what drives adoption and retention.
- Ability to leverage generative AI to increase output quality and speed.
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in a subscription, marketplace, e-commerce, food, or DTC environment.
- Exposure to GTM launch planning, merchandising, or lifecycle marketing.
- Hands-on experience creating marketing assets — comfort producing content, mockups, or creative yourself (whether in design tools, decks, or AI-assisted workflows).

A quick note for all candidates
We’ve recently seen an increase in recruitment scams across the industry, and we want to make sure you (and your data) stay safe while applying to CookUnity. We also want you to know that we take this seriously — sometimes, as part of our process, we may ask for a brief “proof of humanity” to confirm that we’re connecting with a real person, not an impersonator. Here are a few tips to help you protect yourself and know what to expect from us:
- Apply only through our official channels. All open roles are listed on our official careers page: careers.cookunity.com
- Our recruiters are real people — and easy to verify. You can always find them on LinkedIn with verified profiles. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us on our official LinkedIn Company Page.
- We only communicate through official CookUnity channels. That means emails ending in @cookunity.com and interviews held through official company platforms (Google Meet or Zoom) — never WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS.
- We’ll never ask for payment or personal financial details. If anyone does, please don’t share any information and let us know right away.
If something ever feels off or you’re unsure about a message, we’d much rather you double-check with us. You can always contact us directly through any of our social media channels.
