Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, operate, and continuously improve highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that support large-scale product metrics collection and analytics.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying improvements, proposing new capabilities, and driving engineering initiatives that enhance platform performance and scalability.
- Build and maintain cloud-native services responsible for processing, storing, and serving massive volumes of real-time data with high accuracy and availability.
- Monitor, optimize, and ensure the reliability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of production systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new features, improve existing services, and support business objectives.
- Participate in architectural discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor teammates by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Take ownership of production services through operational support, incident response, troubleshooting, and participation in an on-call rotation.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing and operating scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant software systems.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications with Go (Golang).
- Strong experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience building high-performance data processing systems and working with technologies for storing, transporting, and querying large-scale datasets.
- Solid expertise with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies, including tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal, and infrastructure-as-code solutions like Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and production troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fully remote, cross-functional engineering environment.
- Self-driven mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
- Experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, or developing Kubernetes operators/controllers is considered a strong advantage.
