Principal Program Manager – FE Materials Strategy, Transformation & AI Enablement
Micron's Global Procurement organization is a critical driver of the company's competitive advantage, delivering cost leadership, supply assurance, resiliency, sustainability, and digital transformation across a global network of suppliers and manufacturing sites.
Micron is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead strategic transformation initiatives for the Front-End (FE) Materials organization within Global Procurement. This highly visible role will drive the execution of complex, cross-functional programs that accelerate business transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, digital enablement, process optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
The Principal Program Manager will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, translating organizational priorities into actionable roadmaps and programs while driving alignment across Procurement, Smart Manufacturing & AI, Information Technology, Data Governance, Master Data, Engineering, Operations, and external partners.
The ideal candidate is an experienced program and transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale business initiatives, managing executive stakeholders, leading organizational change, and driving measurable business outcomes in complex global environments.
Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support the long-term objectives of the FE Materials organization.
Translate business strategies into executable roadmaps, program plans, and measurable outcomes.
Establish program governance frameworks, execution processes, and executive reporting mechanisms.
Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across multiple organizations to ensure successful program delivery.
Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and organizational barriers.
Lead initiatives focused on AI adoption, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and digital transformation.
Partner with Smart Manufacturing & AI, IT, Data Science, and business teams to implement technology-enabled solutions that improve decision-making, productivity, and operational performance.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement across business processes and operating models.
Develop and execute organizational change management strategies to support successful adoption of new processes, tools, and capabilities.
Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and readiness activities for transformational initiatives.
Facilitate executive steering committees, governance reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and communications that provide visibility into program status, risks, and business impact.
Lead cross-functional efforts focused on process standardization, automation, operational efficiency, and business process transformation.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness, value realization, and organizational success.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience leading large-scale programs, strategic initiatives, business transformations, or operational excellence efforts.
Demonstrated experience managing complex global, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and organizations.
Strong understanding of program management methodologies, governance frameworks, and change management practices.
Proven ability to influence, collaborate with, and drive alignment among senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, facilitation, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience leading digital transformation, AI, automation, advanced analytics, or technology adoption initiatives.
Experience working within semiconductor manufacturing, technology, supply chain, procurement, or operations environments.
Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, materials management, manufacturing operations, or related business functions.
Certification in Project Management (PMP), Program Management (PgMP), Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
Experience partnering with executive leadership teams and influencing enterprise-level strategic decisions.
Demonstrated success driving organizational change and building adoption of new capabilities at scale.
