Accountabilities:
- Develop and lead the strategic vision and roadmap for patient access programs and reimbursement hub services.
- Design scalable patient services models that enhance access, engagement, adherence, and treatment outcomes.
- Establish performance frameworks, metrics, and governance models to support continuous improvement and strategic accountability.
- Optimize operating models, policies, and compliance processes to adapt to evolving healthcare regulations and market conditions.
- Analyze healthcare access trends, reimbursement dynamics, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on patient services and access strategies.
- Collaborate with commercial, market access, trade, distribution, compliance, legal, and external partners to develop integrated access solutions.
- Drive innovation through digital transformation and technology-enabled solutions that improve scalability and patient engagement.
- Develop long-term patient engagement and adherence strategies using data insights and stakeholder feedback.
- Manage external vendors and partners through effective governance, performance management, and strategic alignment.
- Provide insights for annual and long-term planning by evaluating reimbursement trends, program effectiveness, and patient support opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (such as MBA, PharmD, RN, or PA).
- 9–12 years of progressive experience in patient access, market access, reimbursement strategy, or related healthcare fields.
- Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-level patient services strategies with measurable business impact.
- Strong leadership background with experience influencing cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Deep understanding of payer systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursement environments.
- Ability to translate complex healthcare access challenges into actionable strategic solutions.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and privacy frameworks, including HIPAA.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills.
- Experience using analytics, data insights, and digital solutions to build scalable patient access programs.
- Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to synthesize complex information into strategic recommendations.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a growth-oriented biotechnology or healthcare environment.
- Competitive annual base salary range of $214,000–$262,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
