Eight out of ten employees believe Fooda is one of their company’s top perks.Position Overview:Due to expanding growth, Fooda is hiring a Barista at our client location. Who You Are:You are comfortable with customers and enjoy customer serviceYou are comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate changeYou are friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with other peopleYou are able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet for up to two hoursYou are comfortable with technology and running a POS system Prior barista and cashier experience preferredWhat You Will Be Responsible For:Prepare coffee and espresso drinks and other beverage items using standard measures and recipesStock and maintain coffee station supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areaRun and maintain a POS system with attention to detail and accuracyBuild relationships with customers by maintaining a positive environment  Go out of your way to provide a high level of customer serviceStrong communication skills and being a self-starter are requiredKnow and maintain the Fooda Standards of Service and Sanitation on a daily basisEscalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solveHOURS 6:30am- 1pm, Monday - FridayWhat We’ll Hook You Up With:Competitive wages $17-$18/hr Insurance benefits plans - healthcare, dental and vision Paid time off 401k retirement plan with Fooda company matchPre-tax commuter expense benefitAnnual stock option grant each summer Long-term opportunities for advancement within FoodaDaily lunch subsidy at your café location A fulfilling, challenging work experience!Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
