This role ensures efficient coordination with the Check‑In Manager, maintains accurate tracking of vehicle inventory, and leads a team responsible for safely transporting vehicles between storage sites and the main lot. The Storage Lead plays a key role in keeping vehicle flow organized, timely, and compliant with company standards. What you will do: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Vehicle Coordination Coordinate daily with the Check‑In Manager to identify vehicles scheduled for off‑site storage or return to the main lot. Prioritize vehicle movement based on operational needs, deadlines, and space availability. Ensure all vehicles are driven safely and handled according to company procedures. Team Leadership Supervise a team of four employees responsible for driving and relocating vehicles. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to maintain high productivity and safety. Support onboarding and training for new team members. Operational Oversight Maintain accurate logs of vehicles sent to and retrieved from storage locations. Monitor vehicle condition during transfers and report any issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper driving practices and site procedures. Communication & Collaboration Serve as the primary point of contact between storage operations and the Check‑In team. Communicate schedule changes, delays, or issues to management in a timely manner.
