Accountabilities:
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable contracts, and sustainable commercial agreements.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve supplier performance, availability, and long-term supply stability.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular reviews, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, logistics, production, and operations teams to align sourcing decisions with business requirements.
- Manage sourcing projects, including supplier onboarding, supplier development, and improvement plans for underperforming suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and create measurable business value through procurement initiatives.
- Take ownership of supplier-related decisions and contribute to strategic procurement planning.
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or commercial roles with exposure to contract negotiations (approximately 3+ years).
- Strong understanding of supplier management, sourcing strategies, and commercial agreements.
- Ability to analyze costs, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate effective solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of procurement decisions.
- Fluent English communication skills; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
