Accountabilities:
- Independently design, scope, and execute mixed-methods research studies end to end, including survey design, programming, fielding, weighting, and analysis, as well as qualitative approaches such as interviews, diary studies, and usability testing.
- Partner closely with marketing, product, design, and data science teams to identify high-impact research opportunities and ensure insights directly inform strategic and tactical decisions.
- Conduct segmentation, brand positioning, message testing, and competitive analysis to guide go-to-market strategies and product direction.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, compelling narratives and executive-ready reports that influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Select and apply the most appropriate research methodologies based on business questions and decision needs.
- Act as a strong advocate for customers and professionals, ensuring external perspectives shape internal strategy.
- Use AI tools across the research lifecycle while critically evaluating outputs for accuracy, bias, and reliability.
- 10+ years of experience in market research within fast-paced, consumer-facing organizations, with proven senior or staff-level impact.
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with hands-on experience independently running full survey lifecycle work.
- Advanced knowledge of survey design, segmentation, weighting, response bias, competitive analysis, and large-scale data interpretation.
- Experience in brand research, message testing, positioning, and value proposition development.
- High fluency with AI tools to accelerate research workflows, paired with strong critical judgment in validating outputs.
- Proficiency with research and data tools such as Qualtrics, dScout, SPSS, R, or Python.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills, with a proven ability to drive decisions through research insights.
- Degree in Market Research, Business, HCI, Economics, Psychology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred), or equivalent practical experience.
- Competitive compensation with an expected salary range of $176,800 – $228,800 USD (location-dependent and based on experience and role level).
