The Research Data Analyst will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. The Research Data Analyst will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollect data and generate reports and models. Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.Conduct statistical analyses using standard and statistical software packages. Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings. Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.May engage in other research related responsibilities.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Three years of related experience.Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.Preferred QualificationsTechnical Skills & Expected Level of ProficiencyData Management and Analysis - DevelopingData Pipeline Architecture & ETL/ELT Development - DevelopingData Visualization - DevelopingProgramming Languages - DevelopingReproducible Research Practices - DevelopingResearch Methodology - DevelopingStatistical Modeling - DevelopingStatistical Programming - DevelopingThe core technical skills listed are most essential; additional technical skills may be required based on specific division or department needs.Classified Title: Research Data Analyst Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MC Starting Salary Range: $48,000 - $84,100 Annually ($66,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)Employee group: Full Time Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm FLSA Status: Exempt Location: School of Medicine Campus Department name: Urology Personnel area: School of Medicine Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Johns Hopkins University’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education/training and other qualifications.
