About the role

As Director of Provider Operations, you'll lead the teams responsible for ensuring our physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) are licensed, credentialed, onboarded, scheduled, and ready to deliver exceptional care.

You'll oversee Provider Operations end-to-end, including licensing, credentialing, onboarding, workforce management, scheduling, and provider support. This role is critical to our ability to launch new health system partnerships, expand into new markets, and deliver an outstanding provider experience.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role, partnering closely with Medical Leadership, Recruiting, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and our health system partners.

This role requires onsite presence in our New York City office 4 days a week (Mon - Thurs). 

What you'll do

  • Lead the teams responsible for provider licensing, credentialing, onboarding, workforce management, scheduling, and provider support.
  • Build scalable operational processes that improve efficiency, quality, and the provider experience.
  • Develop managers and build a high-performing, accountable organization.
  • Own provider operational readiness from offer acceptance through first patient.
  • Partner with Medical Leadership to ensure provider capacity aligns with patient demand.
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and operating rhythms to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage technology and automation to simplify operations and reduce manual work.
  • Partner cross-functionally to launch new markets, support strategic initiatives, and continuously improve provider operations.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations or in roles requiring strong operational problem-solving and execution, such as management consulting or high-growth technology companies.
  • 4+ years leading managers and high-performing operational teams.
  • Proven experience building and improving operational processes at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.

Bonus:

  • Experience with provider licensing, credentialing, onboarding, workforce management, scheduling, or provider support.
  • Experience in digital health, telehealth, or healthcare technology.
  • Experience launching new operational programs, service lines, or markets.
  • Familiarity with physician and APP workforce operations.

Compensation:$160,000$180,000 USD
