Summary

The Principal Consultant contributes to the Delivery Practice of NetSuite Professional Services. You will be part of a team that assists customers with implementing Functional NetSuite Cloud ERP Financials solutions. The role requires heavy interaction with customers, NetSuite implementation teams and partners. As part of the Software Industry team, you will be expected to understand the nuances of this Industry’s needs. An experienced consulting professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within NetSuite ERP.

Qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience primarily on NetSuite ERP Financials functional solution implementation and/or administration. Comparable cloud ERP solution experience will be considered.

  • Strong consulting expertise across NetSuite Financials and core business processes, with proficiency in Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Multi-Book Accounting, Project-to-Cash, SuiteTax, Fixed Assets, Advanced Order Management, Resource Allocation, Project Revenue Recognition, SuiteAnalytics, and Saved Search SQL.

  • Preferred experience integrating NetSuite with third-party platforms such as Salesforce, Bill.com, Ramp, and other enterprise applications.

  • Good understanding of QuickBooks and similar legacy ERP/accounting systems, including data mapping, data cleansing, and migration into NetSuite.

  • Experience defining requirements for complex customizations, integrations, workflows, and reporting.

  • Project and/or team leadership experience.

  • Ability to guide customers based on leading practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Ability to independently manage functional deliverables while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence Client personnel – Controllers, Operations Leaders, Finance Directors, VP-level stakeholders, and C-level executives.

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or other NetSuite certifications are preferred.

  • Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the solution design, ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization.

  • Analyze business needs to help ensure Oracle solutions meet the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. 

  • Advise customers on industry-leading practices across Advanced Revenue Management, Multi-Book Accounting, Financial Management, and Reporting.

  • Partner with technical teams to design, validate, and deploy scalable business solutions.

  • Ensure solution quality and adherence to NetSuite implementation methodologies.

  • Provide direction and mentoring to project teams. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, business leaders, and project sponsors.

  • Contribute to reusable assets, implementation accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Maintain expertise in NetSuite products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Continuously enhance product expertise through certifications and adoption of new NetSuite capabilities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $107,800 to $157,800 per annum.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
