Accountabilities:

    As an Associate Project Manager, Operations Engineering Services, you will support project execution, operational improvements, and service development across renewable energy assets. Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting the onboarding of new renewable energy assets into operational portfolios by coordinating activities across technical, operational, financial, and support teams.
    • Managing additional service projects from initial opportunity identification through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, compliance requirements, and customer expectations are achieved.
    • Supporting wind, solar, and battery storage projects by coordinating technical activities, supervising contractors, and monitoring project deliverables.
    • Developing and improving risk, compliance, performance, and operational processes to support growth and cost-efficiency objectives.
    • Collaborating with engineering, advisory, commercial, cybersecurity, and operational technology teams to deliver effective solutions.
    • Supporting cybersecurity assessments of operational assets by coordinating with external suppliers and internal technology teams.
    • Contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and standardization initiatives that enhance operational services.
    • Promoting strong health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all project activities.
    • Managing project documentation, budgets, contracts, technical reviews, and operational requirements.
    • Acting as a reliable project partner across multiple teams while supporting the delivery of high-quality services to customers.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a motivated project professional with experience in renewable energy, engineering operations, or asset management environments. Required qualifications and skills include:

      • Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in engineering, science, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
      • Project management qualification or demonstrated project management experience.
      • At least 1 year of experience working with utility-scale wind, solar, and/or battery storage projects.
      • Experience in renewable engineering environments, project delivery, or asset management.
      • Knowledge of renewable technologies across design, construction, or operational phases.
      • Understanding of project financial management, contract management, engineering documentation, and technical reviews.
      • Experience with operational technology, SCADA, civil, electrical, or mechanical project activities is preferred.
      • Knowledge of cybersecurity considerations for renewable energy assets is advantageous.
      • Familiarity with health and safety management systems, quality standards, environmental processes, and relevant regulations.
      • Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
      • Self-motivated, organized, adaptable, and comfortable identifying opportunities and driving initiatives forward.
      • Fluency in English; additional language skills such as French or Spanish are beneficial.
