Accountabilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs supporting AI-driven security and pentesting capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to define system architecture and translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across distributed and cloud-native environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues efficiently, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime in critical environments.
- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Drive improvements in system design, observability, and engineering workflows to enhance platform resilience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern backend frameworks.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in distributed architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), microservices architecture, and containerized environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in collaborative engineering environments.
- Active and proficient use of AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based assistants) to enhance productivity and workflows.
