Accountabilities:
- Lead all phases of BESS and renewable energy project development, including feasibility, design oversight, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Manage EV/EVSE infrastructure projects by coordinating civil, electrical, structural engineering, and technical teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering and design activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and quality requirements.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and support cost estimating activities for EV charging, solar, and BESS projects.
- Identify risks, issues, and project deviations early while developing solutions to maintain delivery goals.
- Coordinate engineering, drafting, permitting, utility, and construction activities across project teams.
- Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations through quality reviews and compliance checks.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship development.
- Prepare project documentation such as change orders, addendums, service requests, Schedule of Values (SOV), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
- Use project management tools and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and project visibility.
- Support training and knowledge sharing for project team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is a plus.
- 10+ years of project management experience leading multidisciplinary teams across planning, engineering, design, permitting, construction, and utility coordination activities.
- 5+ years of direct project experience in electric vehicle infrastructure (EV/EVSE), preferably including EPC, solar, and/or BESS projects.
- Demonstrated experience with project budgeting, scheduling, planning, and cost estimation.
- Experience managing complex multi-site projects for commercial, public sector, or national clients.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including battery energy storage systems, microgrids, and solar PV integration.
- Experience using project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction project workflows.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE), LEED Accredited Professional, or related certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of RELIC and RUNE platforms is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, evolving clean energy environment.
